Director
Sophy is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Company Secretary at Unicorn Registrars.
She is a swift and effective individual with a good grasp of procedural as well as substantive law. She has vast experience in governance, corporate- commercial, company, labour, and Data Protection law.
She is in charge of various re-current company secretarial work and providing professional legal advice and consultancy to a diverse portfolio including but not limited to Registration of Trademarks, Patents at the Kenya Industry Property Institute, Registration of Copyrights at the Kenya Copyrights Board and acting as an agent at the Anti Counterfeit Agency.
She holds a Bachelors of Law (LL.B) from Kabarak University and a Post Graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a member of the Law Society of Kenya
Noah Ndakala
Director
Noah is the Director and a member of the Advisory Board at Unicorn Registrars. He has over 25 years of experience as a Finance & Audit expert. He has developed expertise in areas of Financial Reporting and Analysis, Business Restructuring and Performance Improvement, Risk Management Consulting and Governance, as well as Forensics and Investigation.
He has had opportunities to consult in various industries such as Financial and Service Sector, Real Estate and Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Public Sector as well as in the Public Benefit Organizations (PBOs) among others. He had a chance to work for leading institutions among them Grant Thornton, Ronalds LLP before joining Ndakala Advisory LLP as a managing partner.
Noah is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He holds Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and a MBA in Strategic Management from USIU-Africa.
He sits on various boards such as KCA University Foundation, member of Practitioners Development Committee (PDC) of ICPAK, CITAM Schools, Silverlake Limited, Unicorn Registrars and is also a frequent Consultant/Trainer/Mentor for Business Incubation Africa-a leading microenterprises incubation hub.
